The above pictures are from a 2nd floor master bathroom remodel in Ellington, CT. A portion of the layout in the bathroom was changed to create the larger, walk-in shower area (soon to have glass walls). It was originally a small step in box for the shower and we were able to more than double the size of the shower area to include a bench seat, recessed lighting, a shower rain head in addition to the normal shower head. The subway tile pattern on the shower walls complement the herringbone pattern of the floors. The pattern on the floor was able to continue right into the shower floor area to complete the uninterrupted finished look. We removed the door to the toilet area to keep with the open feel of the room while keeping that area semi-private. The homeowner went for a sleek look with the make-up vanity and LED lighted mirror. With using the free standing soaking tub, the vanity on the left was able to be moved to along the wall and can now include double bowl sinks and two mirrors. With open communication, planning and prep work between our team and the homeowner, we were able to transform this master bathroom into a new sleek, modern space.
