Proulx Building & Remodeling LLC in Stafford, CT was established by Robert Proulx. Rob has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry and employs a team of skilled carpenters as well as an office staff with extensive experience in construction. Our company goal is to provide excellent customer service, professionalism and quality workmanship. At Proulx Building & Remodeling, we work as a team to make sure all of our clients are satisfied during all phases of their project.

Spike F, Lead Carpenter
Spike has been working with Rob since the early 1990's. He brings an overwhelming amount of knowledge and leadership to the job every day. Spike is one of our go-to-guys and works hard to get the project done right the first time.
In case you didn't know
In Spike's free time, he loves hunting and fishing, camping with the family, going to the races and playing darts with friends. He was our Corn Hole Champion at our last Proulx outing!
Ethan C, Carpenter
Ethan has been with Proulx Building since finishing high school in June 2017. Ethan is very dependable and always shows up to the job ready to work. He listens and learns from all the guys he works with and continues to build on his knowledge and experience. Ethan is kind and respectful; just a great all-around young man. We are lucky to have him working for us!
In case you didn't know
Ethan lives in Stafford CT with his mom, dad, three brothers (Ethan is a triplet!) and their dog Harlo. When asked a few questions about himself, here is what Ethan had to say about:
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Be a lead carpenter.
What do you do in your free time?
I like to ride and race dirt bikes.
And lastly, if you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Australia - I want to see the Australia Zoo where Steve Irwin started out.
Norman C, Lead Carpenter
Norman has been with us since April 2019. He brings so much knowledge & experience to our jobs every day (over 35+ years' of experience!). Some background on Norm - he grew up in Maine logging with his father. Moved to CT in 1985 working in furniture making & construction. Moved back to Maine making bedroom furniture, met his wife Joanne & they moved back to CT in 1990. Norman has continued in the building industry with residential houses, worked with cabinetry, trim, roofing & siding. Also worked on the commercial side of construction, a janitorial position at an elementary school & held a carpenter / shop foreman position for a garage and timber frame company.
In case you didn't know
Norman calls Stafford CT home with his wife and two children. His favorite movie is watching his children's home movies. Some fun things Norm likes to do in his free time is fishing with his son and daughter. Some hunting, too. He is a good card player, enjoys his new pavilion and fire pit and likes to bake zucchini bread with his daughter. Something he has always wanted to do is buy an old Ford pick-up truck.

Rich C, Estimator & Project Manager
Rich has been with Rob since 2007 where he started working in the field. He then began to assist in estimating jobs which progressed into quoting full time in 2010. Rich listens to our clients' needs and wants and value engineers the project for the best outcome. Rich started working in the construction industry in 1983. At one time he owned his own business building new houses west of the river.
In case you didn't know
Rich lives in Stafford CT with his wife Denise and their four boys. He is a spontaneous guy who loves to go to motocross races with his boys and dabble in the real estate market. He likes to play the occasional Keno game or hit the casino for a fun night out. Rich loves his coffee! If you happen to run into him, chances are good that he will have a coffee in his hand!
Mark P, Lead Carpenter
Mark is Rob's son & is the next generation of Proulx Building & Remodeling. Mark has been working in the remodeling & building industry since his days attending Cheney Tech High School where he studied for the Carpentry trade. He graduated as the Top Carpenter in his class! He has been full time in the field for almost 6 years. Also, last summer Mark earned his Construction Supervisor License for the State of Massachusetts.
In case you didn't know
Mark spends a lot of time outdoors. He loves to hunt & fish, ride quads & go snowboarding. Mark is up for any new adventure! He recently went through the process of building his own new home, too. Mark's favorite food is pulled pork & he would love to travel to Australia someday.
Jenn W, Office Manager
Jenn started working at Proulx Building in June 2016 and is a great asset to the company. She is responsible for all of the day to day office details as well as our advertising program. She does her best to keep everything on track and organized.
In case you didn't know
Jenn lives with her three teenage children in Stafford CT along with the family dog and two cats. Before her kids graduate high school (within the next two years), she would love to take a family vacation to see the sights in Texas. Her favorite thing to bake is cookies and she would love to own a farm one day!

An arson fire damaged this barn in May 2015. The Town of Bolton began the process of historical preservation efforts. In fall of 2017, we completed this restoration project for this historic building in Bolton CT.

On April 5 2018, Proulx Building & Remodeling is part of the project team that was presented with a Merit Award in recognition for the restoration of the Bolton Heritage Farm Barn.
