We recently completed this new 2nd story deck with stairs to ground level at a home in South Windsor CT.
We worked in combination with Creative Exteriors to build this new deck while they were installing landscaping and pavers.
This new deck is completed and ready to use. Complete with white rails, black balusters and a capped rail system.
Stafford, CT - Our client wanted to remove the metal ramp and have a small deck built in its place. This is the side entrance to the home and sits at the back part of the driveway. This is the main entrance into the home and creates easy access to and from vehicles.
Our crew began by dismantling the ramp. The next step was to cut the driveway, pour two piers (two right corners) to help support this new deck platform. We built this 8' x 10' base from pressure treated wood and installed Trex Select deck flooring. The rails are Xpanse (vinyl maintenance free).
We finished up this project by adding one large box step in front and lattice around the edges to keep leaves and debris from collecting under the deck. We also installed an Azek kick plate below the entrance door.

Our portion of building this new house in Stafford CT has been completed. The homeowner began his information gathering back in 2017, confirmed the plans & put the ball in motion with our work beginning in June 2018. We were able to finish on schedule and the homeowner was able to celebrate the New Year 2019 in his new house!
This project in Manchester CT was a huge undertaking! We added a complete 2nd story addition along with 1st floor remodeling within a very short time frame in order to meet the clients needs.
Part of the 1st floor remodel on this project included a complete kitchen remodel, painting & some living room / entryway remodel.
We added a whole 2nd floor to the existing house to include 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room along with a master bedroom & bathroom suite.
We built an in-law apartment or in-law suite onto this existing home in Stafford CT. The in-law addition added approximately 700+ square feet of living space to include a bedroom, living room, kitchen & dining area, bathroom & laundry area. They even have a walk out basement with plenty of storage space.
For our Manchester CT master bathroom remodel, we removed an old jacuzzi tub and added a linen closet and this walk-in shower area complete with bench seat and glass doors. The low threshold makes it easier to step into the shower area, perfect for those who want to stay in their home (aging in place).
In Vernon CT, this back deck got a make over. We removed all deck boards, rails, posts and stairs. Pressure treated lumber was used for the base floor, the post beams and stair treads. We installed Azek skirt boarding and an Xpanse vinyl rail system & post sleeve covers for a long lasting deck area.
When we replaced this front entry door in Ellington CT, it turned out to be a beautiful transition. The homeowners decided to change it from a black & white colored entrance area to this deep color with the stone surround. Keeping the two sidelights and the transom above the door continues to allow the natural light to come inside.
A simple change made all the difference out in Manchester CT. We replaced the original garage door with a new, larger one and installed an opener. Now it is much easier to use allowing plenty of room for their vehicle and movement inside the garage. While we were there, the homeowners wanted us to replace the regular entrance door as well.
In Stafford CT we took out a regular size entrance door and replaced it with this 9' four panel sliding glass door. They now have a fantastic view to the lake as well as an easy entrance in and out of the house during the busy summer months. The homeowner will finish up the siding this spring.

We were privileged to be a part of this community project in building an amphitheater at Hyde Park in Stafford CT. Many outdoor music concerts are held here along with the Blues Fest which is put on by the Friends of Hyde Park in early August each year. A wonderful place for all to enjoy for years to come!
During this commercial remodel in Danielson, CT, we gutted the existing building and rebuilt it with custom office space and client medical meeting rooms. Storage closets, utility room, IT room and front reception area completed this tenant fit-out.
We were contracted to frame for an elevator to be installed at a home in West Hartford CT. The elevator was built to provide easier access to each floor of the house for the resident. One of the many things we can build to make your home more ADA accessible.
Over the summer, we headed out to Suffield CT to complete some repairs and renovations on this historic barn. Once the homeowner's paint the whole barn, it will look beautiful & the restoration complete!
A portion of our work was to replace any rotted wood in this historic structure. We used rough sawn wood for the replacement pieces to keep with the older and weathered look of the rest of the building. New garage doors were installed to bring some ease of use to the barn which will be used for vehicle storage.
While we were working on the repairs and installation of garage doors, we created this stone drainage area. The intent for this is to help keep the water away from the new garage doors and minimize the rotting of wood in the future.
